Over the last few months, the battle for five-star LSU football quarterback target Bryce Underwood has largely seemed like a two-man race between the Tigers and Michigan. However, it appears that coach Nick Saban and Alabama have hopes of sneaking into the mix as well, as the class of 2025 stud will take a visit to Tuscaloosa this weekend.

For weeks, recruiting the class of 2025 has been red hot for coach Brian Kelly and the Tigers. Things continue to trend purple and gold for several big-name recruits, and they even landed a commitment from four-star athlete Keylan Moses.

As far as the recruitment of five-star class of 2025 LSU football quarterback target Bryce Underwood, things have been relatively quiet of late, but still seemed to lean towards Baton Rouge for the most part.

While this may still be the case, the highly-sought after recruit is making sure to do his due diligence in finding the best fit for himself. In doing so, he announced this morning that he’d be taking a trip to Tuscaloosa to visit Alabama this weekend.

This is the Belleville, MI, native’s second trip to see the Crimson Tide, first visiting back in June. Notably, the visit makes sense, as Alabama currently stands as one of his top seven schools.

Still, for coach Brian Kelly and the Tigers, they certainly can’t be feeling good about this trip. Standing at 6-foot-4, 205 pounds and ranking No. 1 nationally, regardless of position, Underwood is one of the best players in the entire country.

With coach Nick Saban looking to make a late push, it will be interesting to watch how things begin to trend over the next month or so. The LSU football quarterback target will make his final college choice on January 6, deciding between Alabama, Colorado, Michigan, LSU, Oregon, Penn State and Florida State.
