As we find ourselves over a month removed from the 2024 college football season, LSU has begun preparations for the 2025 campaign, most recently announcing its spring practice schedule, as well as the date of its National L Club Spring Game, which will take place in mid-April.
LSU football to have 2025 National L Club Spring Game in mid-April
Every year, the National L Club Spring Game provides ample opportunity to young, and older players alike, to prove themselves in a nationally broadcast scrimmage ahead of the upcoming season.
In 2023, among the top performers were wide receiver Kyren Lacy and linebacker Whit Weeks, both of which would go on to excel in the years to come. In 2024, running back Kaleb Jackson and edge rusher Gabriel Reliford were practically unstoppable.
Now, as we look ahead to the 2025 season, the wait is nearly over as we anticipate who the next household names will be, as the team announced its 2025 National L Club Spring Game will take place April 12, 2025.
Along with the spring game date, we also know that Brian Kelly and his squad will begin spring practices on March 8, while the annual LSU Pro Day will take place on March 26.
While it’s nearly impossible to say exactly who will be the next Tiger to take full advantage of the upcoming 2025 National L Club Spring Game, there’s at the very least no shortage of new faces that fans will be able to get a look at for the first time this calendar year.
Among the names to know include 13 class of 2025 early enrollees, led by five-star cornerback DJ Pickett, five-star running back Harlem Berry and high four-star inside offensive lineman Carius Curne.
Additionally, with a transfer portal class of over 15, LSU football fans can expect to see plenty of new starters in the annual scrimmage, as wide receiver Nic Anderson, center Braelin Moore, edge rusher Patrick Payton, cornerback Mansoor Delane and safety Tamarcus Cooley are only a fraction of the new additions who figure to find an immediate spot on the field for the purple and gold.
