Tis the season for holiday cheer and a look ahead to the football recruiting class of 2025. LSU football recruiting named a top contender for class of 2025 Louisiana cornerback Jaboree Antoine
Already, LSU football recruiting is continuing the momentum they had in the class of 2024 and making a strong push in the state of Louisiana for the class of 2025. So far, out of the 28 signees coach Brian Kelly has in the current cycle, a whopping 16 come from the Boot.
Now, looking ahead to the upcoming junior class, itās clear that this is beginning to become a trend for the Tigers. Already, they have four in-state commitments and are the current favorites to land at least three more by the time things are all said and done.
Only adding to the trend of Louisiana recruiting, this morning, top cornerback recruit Jaboree Antoine just announced his top-eight schools, which included the purple and gold.
Antoine is currently listed as a four-star, according to the 247Sports Composite, but is no stranger to flirting with a potential five-star rating. As of right now, the 6-foot-1, 170-pound, New Iberia, LA native ranks as the no. 51 player nationally and the No. 2 player in-state.
Aside from the Tigers of Baton Rouge, the top Louisiana cornerback is also considering Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, Miami, Texas A&M, Texas and Michigan. Itās notable to mention that aside from Michigan, all of his options are relatively close to home.
Proximity could end up being a major factor in this recruitment as coach Brian Kelly looks to continue building through in-state recruits. Still, there is plenty of time remaining until signing day, and anything could happen over the next few months.
