Coach Brian Kelly and the Tigers have experienced quite the class of 2024 Early Signing Period. They signed all 27 of their commitments, and now appear to be trending for yet another big-time recruit. Today, four-star offensive line target Coen Echols announced that he would choose between Auburn, LSU and Texas A&M Friday afternoon.

Four-star offensive line target Coen Echols set to announce commitment this week

The class of 2024 has been incredibly beneficial for the LSU football program. The Tigers filled plenty of holes on their roster, and more specifically built depth in the trenches.

Interestingly enough, despite already landing five offensive linemen in the class, coach Brian Kelly might not be done with the position group.

Earlier this week, the Tigers began to trend for another four-star offensive line target, this one being Katy, TX, native Coen Echols.

Coen Echols ranks as the No. 151 player nationally and the No. 6 inside offensive lineman in the class of 2024. Furthermore, standing at 6-foot-4, 290 pounds, he still has room to grow and could become a star regardless of where he ends up.

According to his post, the four-star offensive line target has narrowed his list of schools to Auburn, LSU and Texas A&M after decommitting from the Aggies in early December.

With him set to make his final decision on Friday at 3:00 p.m. CST, his announcement could be big for the Tigers. Since early this week, he’s been trending to the purple and gold, and many expect him to become the 28th commitment of the LSU class of 2024.

For now, coach Brian Kelly and the Tigers have 27 commitments, bringing them to the No. 12 overall ranking nationally.
