Joining Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels and Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr, former LSU wide receiver, and current Giants superstar, Malik Nabers has officially been selected as a replacement for Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown in the 2025 Pro Bowl games later this weekend.

Well, at this point, Iâm not sure thereâs much of a debate about who the true âWRUâ is.
A title many schools have attempted to claim, from Ohio State to Alabama, the debate of who the true âWide Receiver Universityâ is something thatâs been going on since long before social media first took hold of the world.
Still, even despite the debate having gone on for decades, thereâs never been a true answer, at least, until now.
Former LSU football pass catchers Justin Jefferson and JaâMarr Chase entered the season already being viewed as two top of the top wide receivers in the NFL. That hasnât changed for years now, and as long as the former Tiger teammates stay healthy, itâs likely to continue being the case for years into the future.
Those two â along with long-time NFL superstars Odell Beckham Jr, Jarvis Landry and several others â have at the very least kept LSU in the conversation for the âWRUâ title, and many would argue that those names alone were enough to straight up give it to them.
However, just in case there was any doubt whatsoever, the 2024 NFL Draft class has completely flipped things in favor of the purple and gold. Not only have former Tigers Malik Nabers and Brian Thomas Jr both reached 1,000 yards receiving in their individual rookie seasons, but as of Sunday morning, they have both officially been named to the 2025 Pro Bowl Spring games, as Nabers will replace Amon-Ra St. Brown in this yearâs event.
Joining Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels and Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr, as the three LSU rookies to be selected for the annual event, Malik Nabers has largely had himself one of the best rookie seasons in New York Giants history, and heâs only just getting started.
Having set the Giants receiving record with 109 total catches, to go along with 1,204 yards and seven touchdowns, Nabers showed just how special he can be in this league.
The scariest part? He did it all without a full-time starter at quarterback.
While the debate of âWRUâ will likely continue going on for generations moving forward, there is at least one thing that truly no one can deny at this point in time.
LSU is on one heck of a run, as far as producing high level pass catchers goes.
While Daniels has officially opted out of the games this year, youâll be able to watch both Thomas Jr and Nabers compete from Thursday, January 30, through Sunday, February 2, as the very best the NFL has to offer will meet up in Orlando, FL, for one of the most anticipated events of the entire season.
