Heading into today, LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers already had a case as one of the best pass catchers in Tiger history. Still, he wasn’t satisfied and has officially etched his name in the record books yet again with his performance in the 2024 ReliaQuest Bowl vs. Wisconsin.

Entering the new year, LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers had already etched his name in Tiger football history. In just three seasons, he has put together one of the most electric careers we’ve ever seen in the purple and gold.

That’s not something you throw around lightly either. Some of the best wide receivers to ever play the game have come through Baton Rouge. With names like Odell Beckham Jr, Jarvis Landry, Justin Jefferson and Ja’Marr Chase, among many others, it takes a special talent to be mentioned as one of the elite.

However, that’s exactly what Nabers has done. During week 13 of the college football season vs. Texas A&M, the three-year veteran out of Youngsville, LA, became the all-time leader in receptions in LSU football history.

Now, with his performance thus far in the 2024 ReliaQuest Bowl vs. Wisconsin, he’s made history once again.

With his latest achievement, the 6-foot, 200-pound pass catcher ranks No. 1 in career receptions (189), No. 1 in career receiving yards (3,003) and No. 6 in career receiving touchdowns (21).

With 30 minutes remaining in the 2024 ReliaQuest Bowl, LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers has an official stat line of three receptions for 23 yards, only further marking his spot in the record books. As the Tigers currently trail the Badgers 14-21, you can watch the second half of the matchup live on ESPN2.
