Continuing with what has already been a busy spring for LSU football, the Tigers are now set to host the top athlete in the country, as class of 2026 four-star, Joel Wyatt, will make his way to Baton Rouge for a Friday visit.

High four-star athlete Joel Wyatt set to take unofficial visit with LSU football this coming weekend

What do you get when have a 6-foot-4, 192-pound athlete, who takes pride in hard hitting tackles on defense, as well as winning acrobatic jump balls as a wide out? Well, you would find yourself with a truly dominant high school football player, who has the potential to be an absolute star at the college level.

Allow me to introduce you to Joel Wyatt, a four-star athlete out of Bell Buckle, TN, who will notably be on campus with LSU football recruiting in Baton Rouge this coming Friday for an unofficial visit with the Tigers.

Officially rated as the No. 47 player nationally, according to the On3 industry Ranking, as well as No. 1 among fellow athletes, Wyatt enters his senior season for The Webb School as one of the most dominant players in all of high school football.

Experienced at several positions on both offense and defense, Wyatt can, and does do just about everything for his team, and it doesn’t take too much game tape to realize just how special of an athlete he can be at the next level.

Logging 965 total yards of offense, and 11 total touchdowns, according to MaxPreps, as well as 31 tackles and 3.0 tackles for loss as a junior in 2024, Wyatt made more than his fair share of an impact on both sides of the ball, but as far as college football is concerned, the Bell Buckle, TN, product likely translates more as a wide receiver than anything else.

Up to this point, we don’t have a list of top schools, but having received offers from Auburn, Georgia, Kentucky, LSU, Missouri, Ole Miss, Tennessee, and a slew of other schools, Joel Wyatt will likely have his choice of the batch when it comes to making his final decision over the coming months.
