Class of 2025 wide receiver Caleb Cunningham includes LSU in his top-12
Hide your five-star recruits, because chances are the Tiger coaching staff already have or will soon be in contact with them.
Over the weekend, LSU landed their ninth commitment of the class of 2025 in cornerback Jaboree Antoine. Notably, it was their eighth from a four-star recruit or better.
Now, with No. 1 ranked wide receiver Dakorien Moore already committed, the purple and gold are now looking like an early contender for Caleb Cunningham, the No. 2 class of 2025 wide receiver.
Rated as a five-star recruit by the On3 Industry Ranking, Cunningham is listed as the No. 11 player nationally, as well as the No. 1 player out of Mississippi.
Standing at 6-foot-3, 185 pounds, the Ackerman, MS, product is a wildly different prospect than the current Tiger pass catcher commits.
Five-star Dakorien Moore is more built for speed and agility, standing at 5-foot-11, 175 pounds. Four-star TaRon Francis, on the other hand, is an all-around receiver, standing at 6-foot-1, 196 pounds, possessing the ability to run through most defenders he encounters.
With coach Brian Kelly and the Tiger coaching staff targeting Caleb Cunningham, he would like serve as more of a red zone threat, thanks in large part to his ability to jump over and run past most opposing defensive backs.
Currently a three-sport athlete, the class of 2025 wide receiver is an athlete, pure and simple. He excels in just about everything he does, putting together impressive resumes in both track and field and basketball.
Along with LSU, his current list 12 contenders is comprised of Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee.
