For obvious reasons, the top goal for most graduating college football seniors is to take the next step into the NFL. For many, a post-season all-star game is the first step towards making that happen. One of the top options is the Reese’s Senior Bowl, which consistently puts over 100 players into the draft each season. This year, LSU football quarterback Jayden Daniels will have his opportunity as he received his official invite yesterday.
LSU football quarterback Jayden Daniels receives Reese’s Senior Bowl invite
And so, quarterback Jayden Daniels’ journey to the NFL begins! The LSU football season has yet to come to a close, but that likely hasn’t stopped several of the top prospects in the country from looking ahead to post-college football.
For the star Tiger quarterback, that very well could start with the Reese’s Senior Bowl, one of the top college all-star games. Yesterday, Senior Bowl Executive Director Jim Nagy swung over to Baton Rouge to personally invite him.
For anyone who’s watched LSU football quarterback Jayden Daniels in 2023, this should come as little to no surprise.
The star signal-caller has been electric in all phases of the game and is widely viewed as one of the best players at the collegiate level, regardless of position.
The 6-foot-4, 210-pound quarterback has thrown the ball 273 times this season for 3,164 yards, 30 touchdowns and four interceptions. He’s also added 918 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground.
Daniels has yet to make his official decision after being invited, which is likely due to his focus on the remainder of the 2023 season.
