One of the top Tiger pledges in the class of 2025 might not be 100 percent finalized within his own recruitment. Yesterday, Saturday, March 17, it was reported that LSU football linebacker commitment Keylan Moses will take a trip to Texas A&M later this month.
LSU football linebacker commitment to take a late-March visit with Texas A&M
When it comes to the world of college football recruiting, itās often easy to forget that these are high school athletes looking to make the best decision for their futures. In turn, they need to look at a variety of factors before signing with a school, including football, academics and overall quality of life.
With that, itās only natural that players will want to take several visits throughout their recruitment in order to solidify their decisions, even if that involves taking trips after making an initial verbal commitment.
For LSU football linebacker commitment Keylan Moses, this appears to be exactly the case, as the talented Louisiana-based athlete will take a visit with Texas A&M later this month on March 30, according to a report from national recruiting analyst Sam Spiegelman.
As we stand today, Moses is currently the seventh highest rated player in the Tiger class of 2025, and the second highest defensive commitment. Furthermore, from a national standpoint, heās rated as a high four-star, landing at No. 237 overall, according to the latest On3 Industry Ranking.
After initially announcing his commitment to the purple and gold on November 30, 2023 over schools such as Florida, Oregon and Texas, Moses has served as a primary recruiter for some of the top recruits in the nation.
After famously saying, āWherever I land, best believe I will have the best class in the country coming behind me,ā the Tigers have since gained commitments from class of 2024 four-star defensive lineman Gabriel Reliford, class of 2024 five-star defensive lineman Dominick McKinley and class of 2025 five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood, among many others.
While itās certainly interesting to see the 6-foot-2, 210-pound linebacker taking a trip to College Station, TX, later this spring, itās not exactly reason for panic. Still, it will be interesting to see if he adds any other visits to his spring schedule over the coming months.
