Angel Reese continues to find ways to make her presence known, and it’s hard not to love it. Most recently, the star LSU women’s basketball forward tried her hand at acting. On Friday it was revealed that she signed an NIL deal with Starry, appearing in a commercial for the soda brand.

Angel Reese, The Actress

Two months ago, LSU women’s basketball star Angel Reese was flashing the classic “you can’t see me” gesture on live television during the Tigers’ national championship run. Now, she’s back in action, this time using the gesture on NBA star Zion Williamson.

In the commercial, Reese is sitting alongside NBA stars Karl Anthony-Towns and Zion Williamson. The reasoning for the commercial is to help Starry advertise for their “3 is Greater Than 2” campaign.

Angel Reese now has a $1.4 million NIL valuation according to ON3. In fact, she now sits at No. 10 overall in NIL valuation in college athletics, just behind Michigan football’s JJ McCarthy.

Big things could be in store for LSU women’s basketball in 2023

It’s never an easy thing to repeat as national champions in any college sport. With that being said, it might be pretty easy for LSU women’s basketball this coming season.

The Tigers won the 2023 NCAA Women’s Basketball Championship in convincing fashion, 102-85 versus Iowa. Now, looking ahead to next season, they will be even better.

Along with Angel Reese, one of the biggest stars in women’s basketball, the Tigers also bring in the No. 1 transfer portal class. As if that weren’t enough, they bring in the No. 1 recruiting class as well.

With a roster that includes Reese, Hailey Van Lith, Aneesah Morrow and Flau’jae Johnson, they could be unstoppable. Last season, South Carolina women’s basketball nearly went undefeated through the entire season. Don’t be surprised if the Tigers find a way to go undefeated en route to yet another NCAA championship.
