When it comes to women’s college basketball, there are very few names as big as that of Angel Reese. The LSU women’s basketball star took over the world during the Tigers’ run to the national championship, and unsurprisingly, it continued into the offseason. Reese currently ranks as one of the top college athletes in NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) and signed several deals with major brands. Through the month of May alone, she signed a deal with Mercedes-Benz of Baton Rouge, Sports Illustrated Swimsuit and most recently, Mielle Organics.

The world simply was not ready for Angel Reese. When it comes to success on and off the court, no one does it quite as well as her. On the court, she put up a stat line of 23 points, 15.4 rebounds, 1.8 steals and 1.6 blocks per game in 2023. Even better, she helped lead her team to the national championship, winning in convincing fashion.

Her off-the-court success immediately blossomed following the basketball season, signing deals with big-name companies like Raising Cane’s and Campus Ink.

Her success has only built since her initial NIL signing. Most recently, she signed a deal with Mielle Organics, a beauty brand specializing in hair and skin products. In signing as an ambassador, Reese will be involved in marketing, social media and various events.

What did the partners have to say about the signing?

Mielle Organics took to Instagram to announce the partnership. Here’s what they had to say:

“Guess what Mavens, we’ve been sitting pretty on something BIG! We’re proud to announce that Angel Reese is our NEWEST Brand Ambassador! With her edges laid and slayed, the ‘Bayou Barbie’ is here to represent Mielle and bridge the gap between sports and beauty!”

Reese also had some big things to say regarding her excitement to be working with the company:

“Athletes are the ideal beauty icons and brand ambassadors, I’m so excited to be working with Mielle! I’m a longtime user and fan of the brand so this is the perfect partnership. I can’t wait to share more with my fans and introduce my new Mielle bundle. The last several months have been a whirlwind. I feel really blessed.”

The LSU women’s basketball star has now signed more than 20 NIL deals and has a seven-figure NIL value, according to ON3. The future is incredibly bright for Angel Reese, also known as the ‘Bayou Barbie.’ Don’t be surprised to see her worth continue to rise, especially with the success LSU women’s basketball is projected to find this next season.
