Continuing their dominant offseason of recruiting, LSU women’s basketball received some excellent news Thursday afternoon, as five-star guard Divine Bourrage announced her commitment to the Tiger recruiting class of 2025.

LSU women’s basketball lands their second five-star guard commitment of the class of 2025

And just like that, LSU women’s basketball coach Kim Mulkey strikes again.

Having already possessed a commitment from five-star guard Isabella Hines out of New Mexico, the Tigers were already sitting pretty for the future at guard. With that said, coach Mulkey has never been one to settle, and if she sees an opportunity to potentially land multiple five-star recruits at the same position, there’s little doubt that she will do everything she can to make it happen.

As it would turn out, this is exactly what would end up being the case in the recruiting class of 2025, as today’s commitment from Divine Bourrage has officially given the purple and gold a second five-star guard pledge this cycle.

Officially listed as a 5-foot-10 guard out of Davenport North High School in Iowa, Bourrage is currently rated as the No. 5 player nationally, according to the espnW 100, as well as No. 3 among players at her position.

A crafty scoring guard, who’s seemingly always in attack mode, the Iowa product possesses the ability to score at all levels, and has yet to show any fear of utilizing that scoring ability.

From no-look passes, to strong drives to the rim, to step-back three pointers, Bourrage can just about do it all, and the idea of her pairing up alongside fellow five-star Isabella Hines almost feels too good to be true.

Having most recently taken her official visit to Baton Rouge, LA, over the weekend, the class of 2025 guard selected the purple and gold over several of the top programs in the country, including Baylor, South Carolina and Virginia Tech.
