Coach Kim Mulkey and LSU women’s basketball sold out season tickets for 2023-24 season
Last season was one of the greatest we’ve ever seen for the LSU women’s basketball program. As a matter of fact, it might have been the best, as the Tigers went on to win their first national championship ever.
Even better than that, the program might have somehow gotten better in the offseason.
After finishing their banner season, it was right back to work, and coach Kim Mulkey pulled off some magic. Heading into 2023-24, the Tigers retained stars such as Angel Reese, Flau’jae Johnson and Kateri Poole, and found a way to bring in some of the biggest names in college and high school basketball.
Among those names are Hailey Van Lith (Louisville transfer), Aneesah Morrow (DePaul transfer) and Mikaylah Williams (No. 2 player in class of 2023).
In short, they had an offseason that would lead just about any program in the country to have a successful season. Naturally, fans will want to bear witness to it, so it should come as little surprise that the Tigers have officially sold out on season tickets for 2023-24.
Coach Kim Mulkey and the Tigers will officially begin their season on November 6 vs. Colorado. The game will take place in Las Vegas, NV, as a part of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame Series. Notably, the game will be available to watch live on TNT at 6:30 p.m. CST.
