Coach Brian Kelly is putting together something special with the Tigers’ class of 2025. With six commitments, sitting at No. 7 overall, it just got even better on Monday with some updated rankings. Alabama commit Ryan Williams reclassified to the class of 2024 on Monday, boosting LSU wide receiver commit Dakorien Moore to No. 4 nationally.

Class of 2025 LSU wide receiver commit Dakorien Moore jumps to No. 4 overall

There’s some serious talent in the football recruiting class of 2025 and LSU is a major contender for several of the top players. One of the most notable recruits is five-star Dakorien Moore, who has already committed to the Tigers.

He was viewed as one of the best wide receivers in the class heading into the week, but on Monday, Alabama commit, and former No. 1 class of 2025 wide receiver Ryan Williams reclassified to the class of 2024. In turn, Dakorien Moore has officially reached the No. 1 slot at his position and the No. 4 spot overall.

The Duncanville, TX, LSU wide receiver commit is one of the best players in the country, regardless of class. Standing at 5-foot-11, 175 pounds, his size won’t exactly scare you, but his speed and ability to make defenders miss should.

Through 13 games in 2023, the stud junior recorded 61 receptions for 1,243 yards and 14 touchdowns, averaging 20.4 yards per catch. Seemingly every single time he touched the ball this past season, he was an immediate threat to score.

With his boost in rankings, the Tigers have a strong chance at landing two top-five commitments in the class of 2025, as LSU remains the favorite to land five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood.
