Yesterday, we received word that coach Brian Kelly and LSU would take on Florida in a night game this Saturday at 6:30 p.m. CST in Baton Rouge. For the second day in a row, a piece of the Tiger schedule has been released as LSU football vs. Georgia State will be at 7:00 p.m. CST in week 12 of the 2023 season.

Death Valley will feature yet another night game for LSU football vs. Georgia State

In the over 100-year history of Tiger football, they have never faced off against Georgia State. However, that will all change this season, as the two teams will face off on November 18 in Death Valley.

The news came out this afternoon, as coach Brian Kelly and the LSU football team will take on the Panthers for a night game in Baton Rouge, LA.

The Tigers are coming off a tough loss against a top-10 Alabama team this past weekend, so an LSU football vs. Georgia State matchup will likely be more than welcome.

Even more intriguing is the fact that this game takes place just one week prior to their battle with Texas A&M in week 13.

So far in 2023, the Panthers of Georgia State are bowl-eligible, with a record of 6-3, including wins over Charlotte, Coastal Carolina and Louisiana Lafayette, among others.

As we look ahead to this week 12 matchup, it would be wise not to think too hard about this one. LSU football vs. Georgia State will likely be another non-conference blowout for the Tigers – it’s just a matter of by how much.

The game will kick off around 7:00 p.m. CST on November 18, 2023, in Death Valley. You’ll be able to watch live on ESPN 2.
