Itā€™s been a season full of offense for coach Brian Kelly and the Tigers. More than likely, this will continue to be the case forĀ LSU football vs. Florida. With just two days remaining until game time, here are the offensive players you need to know for the Gators, including Ricky Pearsall, Trevor Etienne and Eugene Wilson III.

LSU football vs. Florida: Three players to know on the Gator offense

Senior WR Ricky Pearsall

When it comes to playmakers in college football, few are as good as that of Ricky Pearsall.

Whether on offense or special teams, the senior wide receiver consistently makes plays all over the field. On offense, heā€™s put upĀ 796 total yards and five touchdowns.

However, it might be special teams where heā€™s particularly dangerous. At any moment, he can break a game wide open with his ability to give his offense exceptional field position.

Heā€™s only returned 11 punts on the year but averages over 11 yards per return, gaining 126 yards.

Look for the Gators to try and get Pearsall the ball as much as possible. Heā€™s been a challenge for every defense heā€™s faced over the last three seasons, so donā€™t expect Saturday to be any different.

Sophomore RB Trevor Etienne

Florida might not be known for running the ball in 2023, but when they do, Trevor Etienne is the man. The sophomore running back first burst onto the scene in 2022 as a freshman, carrying the ball 118 times for 719 yards and six touchdowns while averaging 6.1 yards per carry.

As a sophomore, heā€™s continued his momentum and efficiency, having run for 529 yards and four touchdowns while averaging 6.0 yards per carry.

TheĀ Tiger run defenseĀ hasnā€™t been the most consistent in 2023, but at its best, it can be one of the top groups in the country.

With that said, Etienne is more than capable of taking over games if necessary. When facing the Volunteers of Tennessee, he carried the ballĀ 23 times for 172 yards and a touchdown, showing how good he can be when the time is right.

Freshman WR Eugene Wilson III

Very rarely do you see a freshman as the most consistent player on a roster. However, that might just be the case with this Florida offense and wide receiver Eugene Wilson III.

According to Pro Football Focus, the star freshman has been targeted 50 times this season and has yet to record a single drop. For an LSU football secondary thatā€™s struggled at best through the 2023 season, consistency like that could mean trouble.

Furthermore, Wilson III is coming off his best game of the year, recordingĀ eight receptions for 90 yards and two touchdownsĀ in a loss vs. Arkansas.

LSU football vs. Florida will occur this Saturday,Ā November 11, at 6:30 p.m. CSTĀ in Tiger Stadium. The game will be available to watch live from home on ESPN.
