LSU offensive line coach Brad Davis is putting on a clinic thus far in the class of 2025. With two elite recruits already committed, the Tigers are now trending for top-100 offensive lineman Micah DeBose following today’s crystal ball prediction.

LSU football an early favorite to land top-100 offensive lineman Micah DeBose

On December 20, 2022, LSU landed its first commitment of the class of 2025, as New Orleans, LA, product Brett Bordelon announced his pledge. For a bit over a year, Bordelon would represent as the sole offensive lineman committed to the Tigers in his cycle.

However, that changed in a major way recently, as four-star Devin Harper closed out his recruitment on January 30 of this year.

Now, it looks as though offensive line coach Brad Davis is approaching a possible third commitment, as top-100 offensive lineman Micah DeBose just received a crystal ball prediction to the Tigers from recruiting analyst Anna Adams.

Standing at 6-foot-5, 315 pounds, few players in the entire 2025 cycle stack up with his size, so it should come as little surprise that he ranks among the best in the country. According to the 247Sports Composite, the Mobile, AL, product ranks as the No. 28 player nationally, as well as No. 5 among offensive tackles.

For the time being, it appears that he’s most likely to stick relatively close to home, as out of the programs recruiting him the hardest, Ohio State is the sole team outside of the SEC.

Along with the Buckeyes and the Tigers are Alabama, Auburn, Florida State, Mississippi State and Oklahoma as some of the schools to keep an eye on as his recruitment continues.

While there’s still plenty of time remaining until the class of 2025 national signing day, it’s clear that offensive line coach Brad Davis has LSU in the drivers seat. Without a commitment date decided yet, we don’t know when a decision will be coming, but it’s hard not to feel good about where the purple and gold stand moving forward.
