Last weekend, things were looking a little uneasy for the Tigers’ recruiting class of 2024. They’d just received two decommitments in three days and their third in June. In response, LSU football cornerback commit Ju’Juan Johnson took to Twitter to send a message to current and future commits.
LSU football cornerback commit has intriguing recruiting message to future Tiger commits
When it comes to implementing a new culture, it takes a team effort. Not just the coach but the entire program needs to be bought in. Then, you also have to make sure the recruits you’re bringing in are bought in all the same.
So far, it appears Brian Kelly has succeeded in doing just that. The LSU football program had several decommitments in June, and at first, it left plenty of room for concern.
Then, just as doubts began to creep in, LSU football cornerback commit Ju’Juan Johnson took to Twitter. In doing so, he addressed any fears that fans of the program may have. Not only that, but he spoke to any future commits, helping them to understand the culture they’re implementing in Baton Rouge.
It’s important to remember that a new culture doesn’t happen in just one season. It generally takes several seasons, but coach Brian Kelly is on the right path to get there.
Class of 2024 cornerback Ju’Juan Johnson is ready to work. Now, for coach Brian Kelly, it’s just a matter of continuing to find the right guys for their team – for their culture.
