LSU is in the midst of putting together one of the best classes weā€™ve ever seen with their 2025 group. Still, that hasnā€™t stopped them from taking an early look at the upcoming recruiting cycle as well. Today, five-star class of 2026 recruit Jahkeem Stewart released his list of top schools, including the Tigers, among many others.

No. 1 overall class of 2026 recruit Jahkeem Stewart releases his top-15

If you have the nickname of ā€œThanos,ā€ you better be a special kind of recruit. Lucky for class of 2026 five-star Jahkeem Stewart, he just so happens to be exactly that.

Rated as the top overall recruit in the 2026 cycle, Stewart went ahead and released his official list of top-15 schools, and thereā€™s no shortage of elite programs on the list of early contenders.

Stewart is listed as the No. 1 player in Louisiana, according to the 247Sports Composite, as well as the No. 1 recruit in the entire country. Notably, he also happens to be one of six players out of the Boot that are ranked within the top-100.

Standing at 6-foot-6, 270 pounds, heā€™s already built like a college defensive lineman, with the potential to bulk up even more. Even better, with two years remaining until his college years, he likely has more than enough time to fill out quite a bit before he even steps foot on campus at the next level.

Still, itā€™s not only his size thatā€™s impressive so far. In his sophomore season in 2023, the elite five-star recorded an eye-popping 85 tackles, 20 sacks, 33 tackles for loss and six force fumbles. In short, heā€™s the definition of ā€œcannot be stopped.ā€

With a little less than two years remaining until he needs to sign with a program, the class of 2026 recruit essentially has his choice of schools, with some of his top options including Alabama, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Ohio State, Oregon and Texas.

Additionally, considering him being based out of New Orleans, LA, the Tigers are an immediate school to watch. For now, weā€™ll have to wait and see if coach Brian Kelly can pull off the unthinkable and land two straight No. 1 overall commitments.
