EA Sports College Football 25 is officially being released later this summer on July 19, and once again, we’ve received another glance at what LSU football fans can look forward to. Most recently, images of Tiger Stadium were released, and relatively unsurprisingly, it’s only further added to the overall excitement for the game.

First look at Tiger Stadium in the new EA Sports College Football 25 video game

One of the most anticipated sports games of the last decade is just a couple short months away from being released, and seemingly every single day, more information comes out about it.

EA Sports College Football 25 is set to be released on July 19, marking the first time college football fans have had a video game for their sport since 2013. Anticipation is unsurprisingly about as high as it gets, and for LSU fans specifically, they’ve just provided even more fuel for the fire, as images of Tiger Stadium were released yesterday, and the early signs show that it’s going to be absolutely beautiful.

When it comes to the field, it doesn’t take long to realize that EA Sports has officially outdone itself. From the endzones to the Tiger eye logo at midfield, everything appears to be perfect, which should help fans around the world feel like they’re playing in Tiger Stadium each time they turn the game on.

As far as the scoreboard goes, it would have been hard to make it match perfectly due to licensing issues, but for what they were legally capable of, it should keep players of the game largely satisfied with the final product. The biggest difference of note is the substitution of “Mr. Fizz” instead of “Coca-Cola.”

Additionally, this wasn’t the only update fans of the purple and gold have received of late, as LSU made several appearances in the official trailer for the video game just last week.

While it’s important to remember that the images shown above are nowhere near finalized, it’s largely safe to say that EA Sports not only did Tiger Stadium justice, but the purple and gold as a whole. For now, it’s just a waiting game, but don’t be surprised to see plenty more LSU football teasers in the very near future as the July 19 release date slowly approaches.
