Five-star Texas A&M commit Terry Bussey first announced his pledge to the Aggie football program on September 28, 2023. Still, the big-time athlete understands to check out all of his options first, which is why it’s so encouraging that he is set to visit LSU prior to National Signing Day in February.

At the end of the day, recruiting is about a high school football player finding his future home. It’s a moment that’s big for several reasons, but among them is the fact that it could play a major role in his future after college.

For five-star Texas A&M commit Terry Bussey, he appears to understand this, and is making sure to take his time before officially signing to a program. While he’s technically been committed to the Aggies for over three months now, he’s shown hesitation when it comes to making it official.

He still has a little less than a month until National Signing Day, and before he puts pen to paper, he’s decided to take some last minute visits. Among said visits will be a trip to Baton Rouge to see the Tiger campus one last time.

When it comes to big-time recruits in the class of 2024, few are as intriguing as the 5-foot-10, 180-pound athlete out of Timpson, TX. Ranking as the No. 20 player nationally, according to 247Sports, he has some of the best playmaking ability in the country.

While he projects more as a safety at the college level, he has the potential to play both sides of the ball if his future team needs. As a senior this year, he did just about everything for Timpson High School.

Through 10 games, the star athlete recorded an impressive 1,785 yards passing, 1,165 yards rushing and 41 total touchdowns on offense.

Now, as his recruitment rapidly approaches its end, while Texas A&M is still the team to beat, it will be interesting to keep an eye on Georgia, LSU and Texas as potential flip options over the coming month.
