The Tiger athletic department has been no stranger to high NIL valuations, with several of the top valued athletes in the country residing in Baton Rouge. Now, as we look to the future, this could continue to be the case, as the most recent LSU quarterback commit, Bryce Underwood, has an impressive valuation, according to On3.
LSU quarterback Bryce Underwood boasts a top-10 high school football NIL valuation
When thinking about NIL valuation and which programs are at the top of the country, few stand as tall as that of LSU. Out of the top athletes in the country, three of the top-10 valued rest in Baton Rouge, with gymnast Livvy Dunne, quarterback Jayden Daniels and women’s basketball forward Angel Reese representing the Tigers.
Dunne is the highest ranked, sitting at No. 3 in the country, just behind Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders (No. 2) and USC point guard Bronny James (No. 1).
Behind the star gymnast, Daniels sits at No. 6 thanks to his stellar Heisman season, while Reese is No. 9. Furthermore, women’s basketball guard Flau’jae Johnson (No. 25) and wide receiver Malik Nabers (No. 54) round out the top-100 for the purple and gold.
However, those representatives will soon graduate, making way for some future athletes as big-time NIL earners. One such earner is likely to be quarterback Bryce Underwood, who is already one of the highest valued players in the country.
Ranking as the No. 1 overall player in the class of 2025, the future Tiger has some of the highest NIL valuation in all of high school football. According to On3 NIL, the current junior is being valued somewhere around $469k, largely thanks to his talent, as well as his 64k followers between Instagram and Twitter.
While there’s plenty of time until the 6-foot-3, 210-pound quarterback makes his future school official, he undoubtedly projects as a soon-to-be star for the purple and gold. If he continues to improve, and build a following in the way he has, don’t be surprised to see his stardom continue to grow before he makes his way south to Baton Rouge.
