Since bringing secondary coach Corey Raymond back on for the LSU coaching staff, fans have kept a close eye on the recruiting aspect of the hire, specifically as it pertains to the cornerback position. Now, less than a month into bringing him back, the Tigers are already beginning to trend for big-time class of 2025 recruiting target Jaboree Antoine ahead of his upcoming visit to Baton Rouge.

Jaboree Antoine has been a top class of 2025 recruiting target for LSU for years now. The top-50 Louisiana recruit first started making a name for himself during his sophomore year, and the Tigers couldn’t help but notice.

In 2022, the New Iberia, LA cornerback put together a season that included 32 tackles, 11 passes defended, five interceptions and an interception returned for a touchdown.

With coach Brian Kelly’s coaching staff first extending an offer to him in January of 2023, only Miami was quicker to the jump, as the Hurricanes offered him just a couple weeks earlier.

Now, with secondary coach Corey Raymond back in Baton Rouge, it appears that the draw to the purple and gold has only increased for Antoine. Earlier today, Shea Dixon of On3 logged a prediction for the big-time recruit in favor of LSU, making the Tigers an overwhelming favorite to land his commitment.

Rated as a four-star recruit, according to On3, as well as the No. 19 player in the country, few players in the class of 2025 are viewed as highly as him.

Standing at 6-foot-1, 170 pounds, Antoine not only has size to compete, but his combination of speed and athleticism helps to make him an instant highlight reel each time he hits the field.

Notably, when you add an upcoming visit to Baton Rouge with today’s prediction, it feels like coach Brian Kelly has an opportunity to close in a major way this weekend. If the star cornerback has a good visit with LSU, it could mean big things for the Tigers as his recruitment rolls along.

Along with the purple and gold, Antoine is considering Alabama, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Syracuse, Tennessee, Texas and Texas A&M.
