In today’s era of college football, you generally start to see high school football recruiting pickup around a player’s junior year. However, in the case of class of 2027 wide receiver Ethan Feaster, even just as a freshman, things are already moving at a rapid pace. As of right now, LSU is just one offer out of over 30 already.

Sometimes, a talent comes around that is simply too impressive to pass up. In the case of class of 2027 wide receiver Ethan Feaster, it’s becoming abundantly clear that several programs throughout the country already view him as one such talent.

Despite him having finished just his freshman season with DeSoto High School in DeSoto, TX, in 2023, he already has over 30 offers. Notably, coach Brian Kelly and LSU are one of eight SEC programs to have already shown interest.

Standing at 6-foot-2, 185 pounds as a freshman in high school, he already has the size to perform as a college level receiver. Even more impressive, in this season alone, the true freshman recorded 32 receptions for 634 yards and nine touchdowns.

Those numbers alone help to show just how elite of a playmaker he is, averaging nearly 20 yards per reception. Still, when you watch him play, it becomes even more clear.

Along with the Tigers, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Oregon, Tennessee and Texas are some of the many big-time programs keeping their eye on the class of 2027 wide receiver.

With more than three years remaining until he needs to make an official decision, there’s plenty of time for things to change for him as a prospect. Still, if he continues on his current trajectory, he has the potential to become one of the best players in his entire recruiting cycle.
