Coach Brian Kelly and the Tigers currently have one of the best offenses in college football. Lucky for fans of the purple and gold, with some of the recruits committed, this is unlikely to change anytime soon. Last night, class of 2024 four-star LSU football tight end commit Trey’Dez Green put on a show.

LSU football tight end commit Trey’Dez Green is a star in the making

It’s been nearly seven months since LSU football tight end commit Trey’Dez Green announced his decision to join the Tiger class of 2024. At the time, he was viewed as one of the country’s top players, particularly at his position.

Seven months later, that hasn’t changed, and it’s partially thanks to how he’s continued to play through the 2023 season.

An excellent example of the kind of plays he can make came last night, as the four-star LSU football tight end commit got up and made an incredible catch for a touchdown vs. Jeanerette in the playoffs.

The East Feliciana Tigers unfortunately came away with a loss, but it wasn’t due to a lack of effort from the future Tiger.

According to the 247 Sports Composite, Green ranks No. 1 at his position and No. 42 in the class of 2024. He’s also one of the top talents in Louisiana, ranking No. 2, just behind Texas A&M commitment Dominick McKinley.

The 6-foot-7, 239-pound Zachary, LA native already looks like a star in the making. He has the build and athleticism to compete with just about anyone downfield, and his basketball background gives him an advantage over most defensive backs.

If the four-star continues to progress the way he has, he could very well be the next great tight end to be coached by Brian Kelly.
