Coach Brian Kelly and the Tigers came away with a big-time victory over Florida this past weekend, leaving them with one remaining SEC foe. In week 13 of the 2023 season, LSU football vs. Texas A&M will take place, and it will surely be another exciting matchup.

LSU football vs. Texas A&M designated as a morning game in week 13

Over the past few years, LSU football vs. Texas A&M has proven to be one of the closer-contested yearly matchups in college football. Notably, in the last six times the programs have faced each other, the series is 3-3, with almost every game turning into an instant classic.

Last season, despite entering the day as the favorite to win, coach Brian Kelly and the Tigers suffered a loss, leaving College Station, TX, with a score of 23-38.

However, it’s a new year, and with the recent firing of former Texas A&M coach Jimbo Fisher, we could be in store for a very different outcome.

This afternoon, we received official word of the game time, as LSU football vs. Texas A&M will take place as a morning game in Baton Rouge, LA.

In the all-time history of this matchup, the Tigers traditionally have dominated, but it’s no guarantee. The programs have faced each other on the football field 61 times, with the Tigers coming out on top in 35.

Notably, the series has taken place each year since 2011, as the Tigers lead with a record of 9-3.

With both teams having slightly down years in 2023, the week 13 matchup might not have the emphasis placed that it might typically have, but it’s sure to be a tightly-contested SEC game. You can watch the matchup on ESPN next Saturday, November 25, at 11:00 a.m..
