With LSU football vs. Florida just hours away, the Tigers could be without several major pieces heading into game time. However, they could also be activating some big-time players, most notably senior quarterback Jayden Daniels. Here, we’ll outline everything you need to know heading into this evening from the coach Brian Kelly injury report, to betting odds, to when and where to watch from home.
LSU football vs. Florida injury report
- Senior QB Jayden Daniels – PROBABLE
You never want to see a player go down with injury, and unfortunately for the Tigers, that’s become quite a familiar scene in 2023. Most recently, quarterback Jayden Daniels went down with a head injury after taking a big hit from Alabama linebacker Dallas Turner.
Lucky for the Tigers, he appears to be heading in a good direction. On Thursday, coach Brian Kelly gave an update on the offensive leader.
“He practiced again today, so he will most likely pass the protocol, and I would say that he is probable for Saturday,” the head coach said to the media.
While that was the only injury update of note from the past week, the Tigers could be without several other major pieces this evening. Some players to keep an eye on are offensive tackle Emery Jones Jr and cornerback Zy Alexander.
Betting odds, how to watch
Despite coming off an emotional loss vs. Alabama just one week ago, Vegas doesn’t appear to be worried about a let down game from the Tigers.
As of Saturday morning, the betting odds are very much in favor of LSU football. According to Vegas Insider, coach Brian Kelly and his team are a 14.5-point favorite, with an over/under of 67.5.
While the spread hasn’t changed much throughout the week, the over/under has consistently gone up. Look for yet another high-scoring affair today.
LSU football vs. Florida will occur today, Saturday, November 11, at 6:30 p.m. CST in Tiger Stadium. The game will be available to watch live from home on ESPN.
