LSU football vs. Alabama is officially just hours away. Earlier this week, coach Brian Kelly gave his weekly injury report, and the Tigers will be without several impact players. Here is everything you need to know about this 2023 week 10 matchup, including injuries, betting odds and how to watch.

LSU football vs. Alabama injury report

  • Sophomore OT Emery Jones Jr – OUT
  • Junior DT Mekhi Wingo – OUT
  • Junior CB Zy Alexander – OUT

The injury bug snagged hold of the LSU football program over the last few weeks. The team stayed mostly healthy throughout the season, but heading into week 10, several big-time Tigers will be out.

Offensive tackle Emery Jones Jr went down with a lower-body injury vs. Auburn in week seven and will likely be out yet again for the Tigers’ matchup vs. Alabama.

Additionally, defensive tackle Mekhi Wingo and cornerback Zy Alexander have been ruled out.

Following Thursday’s practice, coach Brian Kelly gave his weekly injury report and sounded encouraged on the week of preparation heading into Saturday.

“We came out clean. We had a great week of preparation – no injuries. (Mekhi) Wingo’s out. Zy (Alexander) is out.”

Betting odds, how to watch

For the first time in the 2023 college football season, LSU football is the underdog. According to Vegas Insider, Alabama is a 3.5-point favorite, with an over/under resting at 61.5.

The spread hasn’t changed much throughout the week, but the over/under has consistently increased, showing how many people expect a high-scoring outing.

The week 10 matchup of LSU football vs. Alabama is set for 6:45 p.m. CST on Saturday in Tuscaloosa. The annual game will air live on CBS from Bryant-Denny Stadium.
