And just like that, it’s official. After a bit of a rollercoaster of a recruitment, four-star shooting guard Vyctorius Miller has officially signed with LSU basketball as a part of their class of 2024.

Talented four-star shooting guard makes it official with LSU basketball

Just over a month ago, talented four-star shooting guard Vyctorius Miller was committed to the Oregon Ducks and was set to make his way to Eugene, OR, for the 2024-25 school year.

However, a last minute change of mind threw his entire recruitment for a bit of a loop, and now, as of Thursday, May 2, 2024, Miller is officially signed to join LSU basketball next season, and head coach Matt McMahon is clearly excited to have him on board.

“We are thrilled to officially welcome Vyctorius Miller to the LSU Basketball program,” the Tiger basketball coach said of the big-time signing.

“Vyctorius is an incredibly skilled and talented guard. We love his 3-point shooting ability along with his versatility to score in a variety of ways. As a playmaker, he is extremely creative in his attack off ball screens and handoffs. He will be a great fit for our style of play. We look forward to his arrival in Baton Rouge later this month.”

Standing at 6-foot-5, 170 pounds, the Chandler, AZ, product has a fantastic frame and possesses some of the best offensive potential in the entire class of 2024. He can score at all three levels and utilizes impressive body control around the rim to maneuver through even the best defenders.

In terms of how he looks as an overall college prospect, though, he’s still incredibly raw on the defensive side of the ball. However, his skillset from a scoring perspective very well could be enough to get him a few minutes early on, especially if the purple and gold are in need of a spark at any point.

Miller will join the LSU basketball program as a four-star recruit and the No. 60 player nationally, according to 247Sports.

He’s the third four-star recruit to sign with coach Matt McMahon’s squad this recruiting cycle, joining power forward Robert Miller out of Pasadena, TX, and point guard Curtis Givens III out of Montverde, FL.

Additionally, the talented Compass Prep standout will join an almost completely revamped guard room alongside recent transfer commitments Cam Carter (Kansas State), Jordan Sears (UT Martin) and Dji Bailey (Richmond).
