Eyes are officially beginning to shift to the class of 2026 and coach Brian Kelly is ready to figure out who his signal caller of the future could end up being. As a part of those efforts, LSU is set to host fast-rising quarterback Brady Hart for a visit later this month.
Class of 2026 fast-rising quarterback locks in March visit with LSU
Coach Brian Kelly is working hard in putting the country on notice when it comes to modern day college footballâs âQBU.â When looking at the last five years or so, few programs in the country have produced high-level quarterbacks quite like LSU.
The primary names of note include Joe Burrow and Jayden Daniels, both of which would go on to win the Heisman Trophy in their respective years with the Tigers. Now, with talented redshirt junior Garrett Nussmeier, and current class of 2025 commitment Bryce Underwood waiting in the wings, the future looks bright.
Still, those two wonât be with the purple and gold forever and itâs important to continue building for the future. In doing so, the LSU coaching staff has begun to focus in on class of 2026 signal callers such as fast-rising quarterback Brady Hart who is set to visit Baton Rouge later this month.
Notably Baton Rouge isnât the only city that will host Hart this spring. Including LSU, the Cocoa, FL, product will take eight trips over the next two months, traveling to UCF (March 11), Penn State (March 14), Ohio State (March 19), LSU (March 25), Notre Dame (April 3), Miami (April 6), North Carolina (April 9) and Florida State (April 16).
While currently unranked, itâs hard to argue with an offer list as extensive as his. Among the most recent schools to show interest in the fast-rising quarterback are Ole Miss, Purdue, Miami and Florida.
As a sophomore in 2023, the 6-foot-5, 187-pound quarterback threw for 3,884 yards, 41 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. As we look ahead to the 2024 season, if he can clean up silly mistakes and put some extra weight on his impressive frame, he has the potential to continue rising significantly over the next year or so.
