Last season, LSU football vs. Alabama turned into one of the games of the year. Coach Brian Kelly and the Tigers came out on top 32-31 in a dramatic overtime victory, and while the 2023 edition might not be able to top last year’s, America will surely be watching. That’s especially true now, as College Gameday announced they’ll be in Tuscaloosa for week 10.

College Gameday will feature LSU football vs. Alabama in week 10

LSU football vs. Alabama has quickly become must-watch television of late. Among several thrilling matchups in recent memory are the Tigers’ 2019 46-41 win and the Crimson Tide’s 20-14 victory in 2021.

Now, all eyes are anxiously resting on the 2023 version, as coach Brian Kelly and his squad will head to Tuscaloosa for what is setting up to be a top-15 matchup.

Not only that, but in week 10, it could be one of the top-watched games of the day, as College Gameday announced that it will be visiting Alabama to help preview the game.

In the all-time history of LSU football vs. Alabama, it’s been relatively one-sided, and it hasn’t exactly been in favor of the purple and gold. In the 87 times the two teams have played, the Crimson Tide currently leads the series 55-27-5.

However, with coach Brian Kelly at the helm, he’s likely looking to turn the tide in favor of Baton Rouge. So far, in his sole season with the Tigers, he’s 1-0, winning last season 32-31.

If he can find a way to beat Nick Saban for the second season in a row, it could mean big things for the future of LSU football. Not only would it be a good sign for things on the field, but two straight wins over Alabama is huge for recruiting.

You can catch College Gameday on ESPN next Saturday from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. CST as they look to preview the biggest week 10 games of the day.
