Coming off an impressive visit and recent offer from the Tigers, class of 2025 linebacker Jaiden Braker has officially flipped his commitment from South Carolina over to LSU football.
Class of 2025 linebacker Jaiden Braker announces his flipped commitment from South Carolina to LSU football
It’s only been a matter of days since Brian Kelly and the LSU coaching staff first extended an offer to class of 2025 linebacker Jaiden Braker, but as it would turn out, that’s all the time the former South Carolina commitment needed.
Having been committed to play for the Gamecocks since July 6th, Braker has now announced his commitment to the purple and gold, officially flipping from one big-time SEC program to another.
Listed as a 6-foot-3, 212-pound class of 2025 linebacker out of Snellville, GA, Braker has received interest from some of the top programs in all of college football. While only being rated as a three-star recruit and the No. 684 player nationally, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, the talented South Gwinnett High School standout notably holds 20+ offers.
With some impressive speed that allows him to truly fly all over the defense, Braker has the ability to make an impact at all three levels, constantly keeping opposing offenses on their toes. If anything, the biggest question mark with him as a prospect is his overall physicality, but with some college-level conditioning and muscle gains, he has the potential to make a strong impact for the purple and gold down the line.
With his post-Bayou Splash commitment having becoming official this afternoon, the Tiger recruiting class of 2025 now ranks No. 3 nationally, as well as No. 2 within the SEC, with 19 total commitments. Additionally, with nine defensive pledges thus far, defense is quickly becoming a strength of the group as a whole, which should have Tiger fans absolutely thrilled with where the program is headed in the very future.
