BOOM! Just when you thought LSU football recruiting couldn’t get any hotter, coach Brian Kelly has proved us wrong again. One day following the commitment of offensive tackle Ory Williams, the Tigers received more good news. This afternoon, three-star class of 2024 offensive line recruit Joseph Cryer announced his commitment to the purple and gold.

Well this one certainly didn’t take long. On July 26, offensive line recruit Joseph Cryer received an offer from the in-state LSU football team. Then, a day later, he made his way to campus to visit Baton Rouge.

Today, on July 31, class of 2024 three-star Joseph Cryer has announced his commitment to the Tigers.

Most notably, Brian Kelly’s squad was able to steal the big-time Louisiana recruit from a fellow SEC program. Earlier this summer, Cryer announced his commitment to the Ole Miss Rebels. For the most part, he seemed solid in his commitment.

That was, until he received an offer from coach Kelly and the LSU Tigers. That’s when things began to look less than ideal for the Rebels, as he would elect to decommit from the program just days later.

Cryer is listed as a three-star, according to 247 Sports and the No. 966 player nationally. Furthermore, he’s listed as No. 33 in Louisiana and the No. 2 overall inside offensive lineman in the state.

This is officially the No. 21 commitment for the Tigers in the class of 2024. It’s also the fourth offensive line commitment in the class, and the second in as many days.

Coach Brian Kelly and the Tigers are on a roll when it comes to recruiting the class of 2024. The scary thing about it all, is that the Tigers aren’t even close to being finished yet.
