BOOM! The Duncanville pipeline to Baton Rouge has officially moved on to the class of 2025! Just days ago, the Tigers landed one of the best running backs in the class of 2024 with four-star Caden Durham. Today, his teammate, five-star class of 2025 wide receiver Dakorien Moore, has officially announced his commitment to LSU football.

Five-star Texas wide receiver Dakorien Moore commits to LSU football

The best in Texas play for LSU! At least, that’s what it’s felt like of late, as LSU lands their second top Texas recruit in a matter of days. On Thursday, coach Brian Kelly landed a commitment from top running back target Caden Durham.

Today, his teammate, five-star class of 2025 wide receiver Dakorien Moore, decided to join the party.

Moore is not only one of the best players in the state of Texas but one of the best in the entire class of 2025. The five-star wide receiver ranks as the No. 5 overall player and the No. 2 wide receiver, according to 247 Sports.

Moore is the kind of player who makes plays, pure and simple. He has the speed to go the distance, the route running to lose defenders and the hands to catch just about anything in his general vicinity. He already has the kind of talent that has people projecting him as a first-round NFL draft pick. Needless to say, this commitment bodes well for the Tigers’ offense in the future.

In addition, the five-star wide receiver has experience on the track, specializing in sprint events such as the 100 and 200-meter races. He shares this with his Duncanville (and future LSU) teammate, running back Caden Durham.

Unsurprisingly, with talent like his, the Duncanville pass-catching standout was being recruited by some of the best programs in the country. Among his top choices were schools like Texas and Oregon.

Ultimately, he’s officially a Tiger, and LSU football fans all over the country should be thrilled about the news. Coach Brian Kelly landed yet another massive recruiting win, and with Dakorien Moore on board, the future for “WRU” couldn’t be brighter.
