The 2023 college football season is still very much in play, but that doesn’t mean the world of recruiting slows down. This weekend, class of 2025 quarterback and blue chip LSU football recruit George MacIntyre will visit Baton Rouge for the Texas A&M game.

Coach Brian Kelly and the Tigers are looking to assemble a special recruiting class of 2025. Already, they have six commitments, including five-star wide receiver Dakorien Moore.

What better way to continue momentum than adding an elite quarterback? Well, look no further than blue-chip LSU football recruit George MacIntyre, a five-star out of Brentwood, TN.

While the Tigers are in contention for several top-tier quarterback talents in the class of 2025, there’s little doubt coach Brian Kelly would be thrilled to gain a commitment from a recruit like MacIntyre.

However, gaining said commitment is much easier said than done. It will take some serious work, but they’re off to a solid start already, as the Brentwood Academy star will be in Baton Rouge for a fifth time this coming weekend.

Standing at 6-foot-5, 182 pounds, the blue chip LSU football recruit ranks among the very best in the entire class of 2025. According to the 247 Sports Composite, he’s No. 15 nationally and the No. 2 quarterback.

A lengthy signal caller, George MacIntyre is more than capable of slinging the ball downfield with solid accuracy. He also excels at moving around the pocket, showing impressive mobility for his size.

A commitment from the Brentwood native would give their recruiting class of 2025 a second five-star commitment, but coach Brian Kelly would also likely have his quarterback of the future.
