While coach Brian Kelly and the Tigers actively work and look ahead to the 2024 college football season, many fans of the program have their eyes set on April 13 and the 2024 LSU spring game. For most, it will be a first look at the next edition of Tiger football and after today’s release, we have a bit more information on what the day might look like.
Additional information has been released regarding the 2024 LSU spring game
Some are focused on March Madness, while many others have their eyes glued to the start of SEC baseball. However, for many football fans, it’s time for spring practices and eventual spring games.
While this is undoubtedly an excellent opportunity to get a bit of a football fix in spring, it’s also going to provide many fans their first chance at seeing what the 2024 versions of their favorite teams will look like.
LSU football initially announced their spring practice schedule in early February, which included the 2024 LSU spring game (National L-Club Spring Game) which would take place on April 13. At the time, that was about all the information we had, but after ESPN released their April 13 schedule earlier today, we now know the scrimmage will officially take place at 1:00 p.m. CST and will be available to stream live on SEC Network+/ESPN+.
Along with the LSU scrimmage, ESPN is also set to host several big-time shows including the Georgia “G-Day,” Florida’s “Orange and Blue Game” and Alabama’s “A-Day,” making for quite the day of spring football.
As of today, March 11, 2024, Brian Kelly and the Tigers are officially three practices into their 15 day schedule. Whether it be an initial look at quarterback Garrett Nussmeier in a starting role, or the improvement of new defensive coordinator Blake Baker’s defense, there’s plenty to sit back and watch over the next month or so.
In the meantime, mark your calendars Tiger fans. We’re just over a month away from the 2024 National L-Club Spring Game, which, if last year was any indication, is sure to put on quite the show for football fans all over the world.
