What a week it’s been for Hailey Van Lith. The star LSU women’s basketball guard has been competing in the FIBA 3×3 women’s series this week, and it’s been a ride.
After losing to Canada in their first game, Van Lith and Team USA have been unstoppable since. Tigers fans will be thrilled to hear that Van Lith has been a major part of that.
She’s been playing at an elite level all week, passing, shooting and scoring with an unmatched confidence. She even hit a game-winning shot versus Japan to move on to the next game.
Not to mention, she has the fired-up kind of spirit that LSU women’s basketball fans love to see in their players. It’s safe to say that Angel Reese and Hailey Van Lith will be participating in plenty of smack-talk, and you can be sure they’ll back it all up.
If Van Lith can find a way to keep up that kind of intensity and level of play, no one will want to play the Tigers. They’ve created a super-team, and it should be fun to watch.
