The future for LSU at the quarterback position is about as bright as it’s ever been. With the No. 1 player in the entire class of 2025 – Bryce Underwood – already committed, the Tigers are now looking ahead to the 2026 cycle for yet another one of their future signal callers. On Saturday, the purple and gold extended an offer to four-star class of 2026 quarterback Dia Bell.

When it comes to the quarterback position, LSU football is in a bit of a golden era. It all got going in 2019 when Joe Burrow took the world of college football by storm, throwing for 5,671 yards and 60 touchdowns in 15 games.

Then, just four seasons later, Jayden Daniels put together a similarly impressive stat line, recording 4,946 total yards and 50 touchdowns in just 13 games.

Now, as we look ahead to the 2024 season, LSU has three former four-star recruits in their position room, with a five-star set to join the group just one season later. Now, with all that potential already solidified for the program, coach Brian Kelly and his coaching staff has officially turned their sights to the class of 2026.

On Saturday, quarterbacks coach Joe Sloan and the purple and gold extended an offer to elite class of 2026 quarterback Dia Bell.

A 6-foot-1, 185-pound recruit out of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Dia Bell is an elite recruit and has already made quite the name for himself on the national stage. Ranking No. 47 nationally, according to the On3 Composite Rankings, as well as No. 2 among quarterbacks, very few recruits are viewed in as high a regard as him.

While not the biggest quarterback in the country, the current sophomore has exceptional accuracy to go along with one of the best spirals, regardless of class.

With offers from several SEC programs including Auburn, Florida, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt, LSU is only the latest to show interest in the budding star.
