Former LSU football edge rusher BJ Ojulari chosen to Preseason Defensive All-Rookie team
Edge rusher BJ Ojulari was practically unstoppable in 2022. He made the kind of impact where you couldnāt watch the 2022 LSU football defense without seeing him make a play.
While it didnāt necessarily show up on the stat sheet, anyone who has watched him play knows how important he was to last yearās defense. On the season, he recorded 58 tackles, 5.5 sacks and a forced fumble.
Now, having been drafted by the Arizona Cardinals, heās preparing to terrorize the entire NFL.
Along with Ojulari, two other edge rushers were selected for the Preseason All-Rookie team. Former Alabama Crimson Tide Will Anderson Jr and former Iowa Hawkeye Lukas Van Ness made the list.
While itās nowhere near a guarantee that Ojulari will start for the Cardinals, thereās certainly an opportunity. Especially with the retirement of future Hall of Famer JJ Watt, the Cardinals are searching for a star at the edge position.
