We aren’t even two full days out from coach Brian Kelly’s squad’s thrilling victory over Arkansas, but the Tigers have officially announced its game time for college football week six. The team plays Ole Miss this weekend in week five before heading to Columbia, MO, for 2023 LSU football vs. Missouri on Saturday, October 7.

LSU football vs. Missouri game time announced

It wasn’t too long ago that LSU football fans had the pleasure of waking up nice and early to watch an 11:00 a.m. kickoff. Unsurprisingly, there were some mixed reactions, but there’s no denying the team’s readiness.

Coach Brian Kelly’s squad ended up coming away with a 41-14 victory over Mississippi State in Starkville, MS. Furthermore, following their victory, they were back in Baton Rouge nice early to enjoy their Saturday, a rare luxury for any college football player.

Now, the Tigers are back to yet another morning kickoff as they are set to face Missouri in Columbia, MO, at 11:00 a.m. two weeks from now.

In a down year for the SEC, Missouri football has been one of the few pleasant surprises of 2023. Despite a win total of just six heading into the season, the Tigers are rapidly approaching that number, with four already through four weeks.

Most notably, they beat a formerly ranked Kansas State team that won the Big-12 Championship just one season ago. However, they’re yet to face any SEC competition in 2023, so the Tigers of LSU could be their first real challenge of the season.

Still, early signs point to this being a much better matchup than it could have been in recent memory. Notably, Missouri currently leads the all-time series 2-1, as they were one of the most recent additions to the SEC.
