It seems like the LSU football recruiting class of 2025 just keeps improving at every turn. In late November, the Tigers landed a big-time Louisiana recruit with athlete Keylan Moses electing to stay close to home. Now, it’s looking like another player from the Boot could follow suit, as five-star class of 2025 running back Harlem Berry is trending towards Baton Rouge.

In the recruiting class of 2025, the state of Louisiana is filled with top-end talent. Among the top-250 nationally, five are from the Boot, and if it were up to coach Brian Kelly, each one would end up staying in-state to play for the Tigers.

Luckily for fans of the purple and gold, this goal of theirs is getting closer to fruition by the day. The No. 246 player in the country, Keylan Moses is already committed to stay and play for the Bayou Bengals, and now it’s looking like another big-time Louisiana talent could be joining him in the coming days.

On Tuesday, Bryce Koon of 247Sports made a crystal ball prediction for the Metairie, LA recruit in favor of LSU.

This is excellent news for coach Brian Kelly and the entire coaching staff for obvious reasons, but it’s notable to mention that he’s the top ranked player in-state. Ranking No. 16 nationally and No. 1 among running backs, according to the 247Sports Composite, he’s an excellent player and one that would make any program in the country thrilled to have him on board.

The Louisiana target is just days away from committing

Fear not, Tiger fans, as we won’t have to wait much longer to know the official decision of the St. Martin’s Episcopal School running back. In early November, Hayes Fawcett of On3 announced that the five-star would be making his college choice on December 18.

As of right now, it doesn’t appear anything has changed in that department, and with LSU continuing to trend for the class of 2025 star, things are looking good for the Tigers.

Some other names to keep an eye on as the recruiting class of 2025 continues to heat up are inside offensive lineman Devin Harper, running back James Simon, cornerback Jaboree Antoine and wide receiver Russell Babineaux. The purple and gold are in high contention for each player and would be thrilled to have them on board when things are all said and done.
