It’s official visit season, and the LSU football team will have plenty of recruits on campus over the coming month. Of those recruits will be Bryant Wesco, an elite class of 2024 four-star wide receiver out of Midlothian, TX.

Four-star wide receiver Bryant Wesco will take an official visit to Baton Rouge

One of the most important seasons of the year for recruiting is official visit season. That’s the time of the year when programs can focus on recruits and truly roll out the red carpet.

For LSU football, one of the top recruits in the country will be heading to Baton Rouge in early June for his official visit. That recruit is four-star wide receiver Bryant Wesco – you can be sure that Brian Kelly will do everything he can to make sure his visit is one to remember.

The Tigers currently have just one wide receiver in their class of 2024, so this is a big recruitment for LSU football. Not only is wide receiver a position of need, but Wesco is one of the best players in high school football.

He’s an Oklahoma lead, with two crystal balls predicting him to Norman, OK. However, things could certainly change with the Tigers getting ready to host him this next weekend.

Bryant Wesco as a prospect

Bryant Wesco is an elite wide receiver, plain and simple. He can do pretty much anything you need of him – capable of snagging a jump ball or making a man miss in the open field.

It also shows in his ranking, being listed as the No. 37 player in the class of 2024 and the No. 8 wide receiver according to 247 Sports.

If the Tigers can secure his commitment, they’ll get an elite four-star wide receiver with five-star potential. While he doesn’t have elite speed per se, he can stop on a dime and make some of the best defenders miss.

The other schools on his official visit list are USC, Clemson, TCU and Tennessee. In addition, Oklahoma is another top contender for him, as the Sooners are the current favorites to earn his commitment.

Coach Brian Kelly will almost certainly give this recruiting visit his all. If it goes well, Kelly will be hoping he leaves Baton Rouge feeling excited about the future of LSU football.
