It’s safe to say that Louisiana businesses love LSU athletics. All summer, in-state companies have been signing NIL deals with LSU athletes, and John Deere dealer Sunshine Quality Solutions is the most recent to do so. Following their deal with tight end Mason Taylor, the local business has officially signed partnerships with four LSU football players.
Star tight end Mason Taylor signs deal with John Deere
Following his breakout season with the Tigers, LSU football star tight end Mason Taylor has been quite a commodity in the NIL space. Since joining the program, he’s signed deals with several local businesses, such as Gordon McKernan Injury Attorneys and Raising Cane’s.
Now, Taylor can add agriculture and landscaping to his list of NIL partnerships, having signed a deal with John Deere dealer Sunshine Quality Solutions.
With this partnership, Taylor will appear in a commercial for the company, which will be released the week of LSU vs Alabama (week 10). The commercial will take inspiration from Taylor’s game-winning catch versus the Crimson Tide in 2022 as a part of their “Clearing a Path to Victory” campaign.
“I’m excited to partner with Sunshine,” Taylor said in a statement regarding the partnership. “It’s a blessing to partner with such a reputable company and utilize my Name, Image, and Likeness for a fun and impactful campaign. We took a concept that can relate with, clearing a path to victory, and put a little twist on it. I’m excited for everyone to see the work we are doing together.”
With this most recent partnership, Sunshine Quality Solutions has signed NIL deals with several LSU football players. Mason Taylor joins linebacker Harold Perkins Jr and offensive tackles Will Campbell and Emery Jones Jr as the fourth Tiger to sign on.
The star LSU tight end has an annual NIL valuation of $199k, which is good enough for No. 272 in college football, according to On3 NIL Valuation.
