What a day forĀ LSU football! The Tigers offered highly underrated class of 2024 wide receiver Kylan Billiot just days ago. Now, Billiot is officially a part of the LSU footballĀ recruitingĀ class, as he announced his commitment this afternoon.
Kylan Billiot officially announces his commitment to LSU football
If weāre being completely honest, his commitment was bound to happen sooner or later. This past weekend, class of 2024 wide receiver Kylan Billiot attended a camp with LSU football in Baton Rouge.
Itās safe to say he impressed in his time visiting, as the coaching staff offered him on the spot. Not only that, but they offered him in front of a few current players on the roster, and they were thrilled, to say the least.
Just four days later, Billiot has officially announced his commitment to the program.
Billiot is one of the more underrated prospects in the class of 2024
As things stand, Kylan Billiot is ranked as theĀ No. 589 player and No. 79 wide receiverĀ in the country. That shouldnāt last long, though.
Standing at 6-foot-3, 195 pounds, he already fits the mold of what a college wide receiver should look like. Tie that in with the fact that LSU football is his first power five offer, and I wouldnāt be surprised to see a rise in his future.
He has the size and hands to be an elite playmaker down the line. Not to mention, he does track and basketball alongside football, so he has more than enough athleticism.
With Billiotās commitment, the Tigers now have two wide receivers committed to their class of 2024. Their only other commitment at the position is four-star Joseph Stone, out of Fairburn, GA.
Expect coach Brian Kelly to take at least one more receiver in this class. With the Tigers losing wide receiver Malik Nabers to the NFL following this season, the class of 2024 will go far in determining the future of āWRU.ā
